We have a Process Control and Automation Inspector role available within Tata Steel (Primary Operations / Hot Rolled Products). The department specializes in processing steel slabs into hot rolled coils through a highly complex and high-speed rolling mill. This role is ideal for someone with strong IT literacy skills and is proactive, a clear communicator and holds good attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
- Provide a complete range of Engineering activities to optimise production within the Primary Operations work area (Slab Yards and Re-heat furnaces).
- Act as the first point of contact to ensure the continued output of the Hot Mill.
- Diagnose and rectify faults quickly on plant end devices, instrumentation, control systems, and electrical control systems of DC AC drives and motors.
- Issue permits on electrical systems.
