We have a CDM Facilitator role available within TATA Steel's Port Talbot site. Role: CDM Facilitator Location: TATA Steel, Port Talbot SA13 2NG (100% site based) Pay: £40,788 per annum, hourly this is £21.49ph Contract length: Shift Patterns: Monday - Thursday 08:30-16:45, Friday 08:30-15:45 (36.5 hours per week) Start: ASAP but pending the successful result of a medical assessment. Supporting and advising the project teams in the co-ordination, implementation and development of safety systems and procedures Ensuring that adequate control measures are in place for the control of Contractors working for the Project & Design department Supporting the deployment of the Tata Health and Safety Management System and department goals with respect to the Safety Annual Plan. Identifying improvements in health, safety and environmental standards in the assigned area/Project construction site. Auditing safety compliance with regards to behaviour and inspections. Delivering local area safety inductions and training packages as required by the local department/Project to ensure clear understanding of local safety rules to all persons (employees, contractors and visitors). Tracking and driving safety compliance training within the local area, e.g. HAVS, Fire, Asbestos, Gas Awareness. Driving Licence and access to own vehicle (due to the nature of the site) NEBOSH General Certificate or NEBOSH Construction Certificate Construction Skills CITB Site Managers Safety Training Scheme certificate or equivalent Proficient IT literacy, especially with Windows Office, SAP & Lotus notes database Experience in on site heavy industries, major construction or oil and gas works 35 days paid holiday per annum (including Bank Holidays) ~ Exclusive online services including restaurant and retail discounts ~ Chance to receive £300* for referring a friend ~ Opportunity for progression into permanent roles ~ Access to Employee Assistance Programme to support your personal wellbeing Right to work check, Medical assessment, Drug and Alcohol Test and reference checks.
