Tata Steel's largest UK works, Port Talbot, are seeking an experienced L4 Construction Scheduler on a fixed term basis. The successful applicant will be a PMI scheduling professional holding APM PPC and APM EVM certifications. This position allows a competent Construction Scheduler to manage detailed project schedules within a multi disciplined team during the construction phase of site projects.

Role: Scheduler (Construction L4)
/n
Hours: Mon - Fri, 36.5 hours per week
/n
Location: TATA Steel, Port Talbot, SA13 2NG, United Kingdom
/n
Rate: Competitive and based on experience (inside IR35)
/n
/n
Responsibilities:
/n
/n
- Maintaining and optimising Level 4 construction schedules aligned to the Level 3 integrated schedule
/n
- Monitoring project progress, updating schedules and resolving scheduling issues with stakeholders
/n
- Developing and finalising Level 4 commissioning schedules and integrating with the master schedule
/n
- Coordinating with project teams to gather information, update schedules and track milestones
/n
- Monitoring site progress, identifying delays, risks and opportunities to improve delivery
/n
- Supporting contractor payment applications through validation against Level 4 schedules and contract rules
/n
- Implementing schedule changes and managing communication through the project change control process
/n
- Analysing schedule performance and producing regular progress, trend and issue reports
/n
- Managing project timelines using Primavera P6, Microsoft Project and other scheduling tools.

Essential requirements:
/n
/n
- Educated to HND/NVQ and/or Degree standard in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics discipline
/n
- PMI-SP credential
/n
- APM MQ or PPQ qualification
/n
- APM EVM certification
/n
- APM PPC certification
/n
- Strong verbal and written communication skill
/n
- Full UK Driving Licence and access to own vehicle (due to nature of the site)
/n
- Good IT literacy especially with MS Office
/n
- Basic knowledge of project planning tools
/n
- Previous experience forecasting and delivering on multi disciplined projects
/n
/n
