Responsibilities
- To provide support to Operations through scientific experimentation and prototype fabrication.
- To perform testing of product or materials analysis, reporting and review of results.
- Perform testing to protocol or procedure whilst adhering to good laboratory practice.
- Develop protocols to accomplish goals.
- Produce prototype product or communicate prototype requirements to support experiments.
- Utilise analytical instruments and train others in their operation.
- Participate in experimental design discussions, identify variables that may impact experimental results.
- Analyse data, evaluate results and form conclusions.
- Prepares effective summaries of results and communicates these to wider team.
- Compile and maintain records as required by good laboratory practice.
- Writes clear and technically correct reports with feedback from colleagues.
- Liase with other departments and present technical information to team meetings.
- Have awareness of change control procedures applicable to role.
- Know and apply knowledge of health and safety procedures.
