Do you have experience in dispatch operations? Have you used barcode scanners for the goods in/out process? Are you based in or around Caerphilly? Catnic is a leading provider of Steel Lintels for the Construction Industry. The successful applicant will be a reliable, proactive individual who is not phased working outdoors and holds some level of experience with dispatch duties, within a Manufacturing environment.
Role: Yard operative
Pay: Grade D, £13.54ph Night and overtime rates apply £17.11ph-£27.08ph
Location: Catnic, Pontypandy industrial Estate, Caerphilly, CF83 3GL
Shift Pattern: Monday to Thursday (7:00 AM - 3:30 PM), Friday (7:00 AM - 3:00 PM) with a 30 minute unpaid lunch daily
Hours: 39.5 per week
Duration: 3-6 months
Start: ASAP but upon the completion of a medical (Llanwern or Port Talbot site), which does include a Drug and Alcohol test
Key Responsibilities:
- Operating FLT Counterbalance and Side Loader (SLT) trucks
- Using bar-code scanners to manage stock and dispatch
- Meeting daily team target of 660 picks
- Standard FLT and SLT loading duties
- Working safely within the yard environment
- Onsite training provided with opportunities for further development
