Role: Design Specialist Location: DS Smith, Fordham Rd, Fordham, Newmarket, CB8 7TX, United Kingdom Pay: £19.70 per hour (no overtime) Hours: 37.5 hours per week (Mon – Fri, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM, unpaid breaks) Contract Duration: Until 31st March 2025 with a possibility of extension Interview Process: Face-to-face interviews Start Date: ASAP Responsibilities: Use CAD design tools to create accurate prototypes. Collaborate with internal design teams (Design for Implementation, Design for Creative, and Innovation Specialists) to bring creative concepts to life. Maintain and update centralised sample hubs and design spreadsheets. Ensure deadlines are met while maintaining high standards and attention to detail. Use IT tools such as Excel and other design platforms effectively. Essential Criteria: Experience with design tools, preferably CAD (training provided for candidates with no prior CAD experience).
