You will play a key role in designing engineering solutions that support major capital projects, plant improvements, and maintenance excellence.

Salary: £33,120 - £42,000 depending on experience

Start: ASAP, pending the result of a completed medical assessment, which does include a Drug and Alcohol test
This is a dynamic, hands-on role combining plant and office-based work, including site visits to ensure successful implementation of designs across Port Talbot and Llanwern.
Responsibilities:
- Leading the development of mechanical designs for capital projects and plant performance improvements.
- Approving and validating in-house designs and evaluating those from third-party suppliers.
- Providing technical expertise to resolve plant and equipment failures or inefficiencies.
- Collaborating across technical teams, project engineers, and external engineering partners.
