Job Title: Production Technician Location: Plymouth Shift Pattern: 11pm - 11am (Night shift) Salary: £31,000 per annum + an impressive 37% shift premium
What you'll be doing:

Operating & Assembling: Operate production machinery, assemble products, perform pallet release duties, and provide essential operational cover during breaks.

Maintenance & Refurbishment: Conduct Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedules and proactively refurbish offline machinery to ensure optimal long-term performance.

Troubleshooting & Repair: Attend to electro-mechanical faults on the production line, utilizing your diagnostic skills to repair equipment rapidly and minimize downtime within planned costs.

Quality & Setup: Ensure all manufacturing equipment is correctly set up to produce products according to strict standards, actively monitoring in-process quality to prevent product holds.
What we're looking for:

A formal qualification in electrical or mechanical engineering (e.g., C&G, HND) or a fully time-served apprenticeship.

Proven experience working within a high-volume, highly automated manufacturing environment.

Strong hands-on experience in electro-mechanical maintenance, fault finding, and equipment repair.

Excellent communication skills with a collaborative, team-oriented mindset.
