This role is ideal for someone who considers themself to be reliable, proactive, eager to learn and happy to work away from home.
Location: Glensanda Quarry, Rhugh Garbh Depot, Barcaldine, PA37 1SE
Rate: £18.00ph
Contract length: 3 months initially but with the view to go permanent
Shift Patterns: working 7 days a week 7am till 7pm, 1 week on, 1 week off. Weds-Weds
Start: ASAP
Responsibilities:
- General site maintenance
- Cleaning spillages from under the production lines
- Moving site waste using a wheel barrow and plant machinery
- Use of on site machinery
- Practising the highest standards of Health and Safety at all times
Essential requirements:
- Ability to conduct manual handling
- Ability to stand for long periods
- Previous labouring experience
- Some knowledge of UK Health and Safety legislation
- Driving licence and use of a car is desirable due to location of the site, however, public transport is available.
- HGV, Trailer, Tractor experience is all advantageous
