We have a position available within Holcim at Glensanda Quarry. This role is ideal for someone who considers themself to be reliable, proactive, eager to learn and happy to work away from home.

Role: 90 Tonne excavator & 777 dumper truck operative

Location: Glensanda Quarry, Rhugh Garbh Depot, Barcaldine, PA37 1SE

Rate: £27.00ph

Contract length: Month to Month

Shift Patterns: working 6 days on 2 days off

Start: ASAP

Responsibilities:

  • General site maintenance

  • Cleaning spillages from under the production lines

  • Moving site waste using plant machinery

  • Use of on site machinery

  • Practising the highest standards of Health and Safety at all times

Essential requirements:

  • Ability to conduct manual handling

  • Ability to stand for long periods

  • Previous labouring experience

  • Some knowledge of UK Health and Safety legislation

  • HGV, Trailer, Tractor experience is all advantageous

  • Excavator and dump truck licence
