We have an opportunity for you as Laboratory analyst position in Abingdon Job Title: Laboratory analyst Duration: 3 months Location: Abingdon Salary: 14.62 p/h Working hours: 37.5 hours Responsibilities Routine work - Daily Extractions Preparing lab reagents Running and saving SSTs Daily basic equipment checks and maintenance Keeping lab up to safe and efficient working standards (i.e. checking expiry dates) Maintenance of screening instruments including making reagents and QC's where appropriate Equipment validations (i.e. Heaters, Fridges, Freezers, Pipettes) CGF0130 Ed.2b Cross training to be achieved and competencies gained and maintained to enable work in both screening and confirmation areas. Routine work - Non-daily and Site specific Undertake and complete provided training modules and assessments Perform stock checks and identify items requiring order to ensure stock is maintained Support the development and implementation of new processes and methods
