Role: General Operative Location: Glensanda Quarry, Rhugh Garbh Depot, Barcaldine, PA37 1SE Rate: £18.00ph Contract length: 3 months initially but with the view to go permanent Shift Patterns: working 7 days a week 7am till 7pm, (84hrs) 1 week on, 1 week off. Start: ASAP Responsibilities: General site maintenance Cleaning spillages from under the production lines Moving site waste using a wheel barrow Use of on site machinery if valid tickets are held Practising the highest standards of Health and Safety at all times Essential requirements: Ability to conduct manual handling Ability to stand for long periods Previous labouring experience Some knowledge of UK Health and Safety legislation Driving licence and use of a car is desirable due to location of the site, however, public transport is available.
