About the Role:
We are currently looking for a reliable and vigilant Gateman to manage site access for a construction project in Widnes. This is a 1-month contract starting on Thursday the 29th, offering a competitive CIS rate and consistent Monday-to-Friday hours.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing the site gate and controlling access for all vehicles, operatives, and visitors.
- Signing personnel in and out of the site to ensure accurate fire registers.
- Directing plant and delivery vehicles safely in and out of the site entrance.
- Ensuring the site entrance remains clear, safe, and secure at all times.
- Communicating effectively with site management and delivery drivers.
Requirements:
- Traffic Marshal / Vehicle Banksman ticket (Highly preferred).
- Previous experience working as a Gateman or Traffic Marshal on a construction site.
- Registered for CIS (Construction Industry Scheme).
- Full 5-point PPE (Hard hat, high-vis, steel toe cap boots, gloves, and glasses).
- Excellent communication skills and a reliable work ethic.
