This role provides crucial support to manufacturing processes and offers the chance to develop skills across multiple work areas.

The Details

  • Location: Inchinnan Business Park, Paisley.
  • Pay Rate: £13.20 per hour.
  • Shift Allowance: An additional 25% shift allowance.
  • Salary Equivalent: £27,107.
  • Hours: 37.5 hours per week on a rotating pattern (Early, Back, and Night shifts).
  • Duration: 6-month initial contract.

The Role

As a Level 1 Operator, you will be responsible for ensuring the daily requirements for the manufacture of cell culture media and reagents are met. You will:

  • Support the efficiency of processes and machines to meet schedule attainment.
  • Collaborate with team leaders, supervisors, and other departments to maintain high quality and service standards.
  • Work in a graded manufacturing environment, adhering to specific gowning requirements.
  • Handle chemicals and hazardous materials safely.
  • Perform manual handling tasks that may involve standing for long periods.

Who Are We Looking For?

  • Education: National 5 or better in Standard Grade Maths and English.
  • Experience: No direct experience required as full training will be given. Relevant work experience is also considered a suitable alternative.
