About the Role
Our client is currently seeking an experienced
Assistant Site Manager for a long-term, ongoing position on a major Social Housing Damp & Mould remediation scheme across Nottingham.
This is a key customer-facing operational role where you will support the Site Manager in delivering damp proofing, mould eradication, insulation, and ventilation upgrades across occupied domestic properties. You will serve as a primary link between tenants, site operatives, and the client team while maintaining strict health and safety standards on site.
Key Responsibilities
Resident & Client Liaison: Act as the primary daily contact for tenants and client representatives, keeping residents informed of work schedules, managing access, and addressing any concerns promptly.
Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure all site operatives and sub-contractors strictly adhere to company Health & Safety protocols, RAMS, and site safety rules at all times.
Quality Control & Inspections: Conduct pre- and post-work inspections on damp and mould remediation works, ensuring high-quality standards ahead of sign-offs.
Operational Support: Assist the Lead Site Manager with daily briefings, sub-contractor coordination, material call-offs, and keeping project trackers updated.
Occupied Property Management: Maintain clean, safe working environments inside tenants' homes, ensuring minimal disruption during works.
Person Specification & Qualifications
Proven experience as an Assistant Site Manager or Supervisor within
Social Housing, Decarbonisation, or Domestic Refurbishment schemes.
Direct experience dealing with
damp, mould, ventilation, or insulation works in occupied properties.
Valid
SSSTS or SMSTS qualification.
Valid
CSCS Card White or Black.
Valid
First Aid at Work.
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills with a strong customer-care background.
Full UK Driving Licence and access to a vehicle.
Payment Terms
This position is offered strictly on an
Umbrella PAYE or Direct PAYE basis. In line with project compliance rules,
CIS payment options are NOT available for this role.
