Mobile Air Conditioning Engineer (Multiskilled)

Salary: Up to £44,000 per annum + Overtime & On-Call Allowance

Are you a skilled and experienced Air Conditioning Engineer looking for a mobile role with a fantastic work-life balance? We are seeking a proactive and professional multiskilled engineer to join our team, covering commercial sites across Southampton and the surrounding region. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a supportive team while enjoying the autonomy of a field-based position.

The Role

As a mobile engineer, your primary responsibility will be carrying out planned and reactive maintenance on a range of air conditioning systems. You\'ll be the face of our company on client sites, delivering high-quality service. Your day-to-day duties will include:

  • Servicing, maintenance, fault-finding, and repair of AC systems, including Splits, VRVs, VRFs, AHUs, and FCUs.
  • Performing general building services maintenance, including basic plumbing, electrical tasks, and fabric repairs.
  • Working independently to manage your daily workload efficiently.
  • Participating in an on-call rota to provide out-of-hours support.

The Ideal Candidate

We\'re looking for a qualified engineer with a positive attitude and strong problem-solving skills.

Essential Requirements

  • F-Gas Category 1 Qualification.
  • Proven experience in a similar commercial AC maintenance role.
  • A full UK driving licence.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Desirable Skills

  • NVQ Level 2/3 in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration.
  • 18th Edition electrical qualification.
  • Experience in other building maintenance trades.
