Junior Site Engineer (Temp to Perm) – Housing Civils
Are you a Site Engineer looking to kick-start your career with a clear path to a permanent role?
Randstad is seeking a Junior Site Engineer for a growing civil engineering company specializing in large-scale residential developments. This is a temp-to-perm position, with a view to a permanent contract after a 12-week trial period.
This opportunity is ideal for a recent graduate or someone with up to two years of experience in civils. You will work closely with experienced project managers and site teams, gaining practical experience in residential groundworks and infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
- Setting out and checking civils works, including roads, drainage, foundations, and utilities.
- Assisting with site operations management, including health and safety, quality control, and environmental compliance.
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
- Conducting site surveys and preparing daily reports.
- Collaborating with subcontractors, suppliers, and clients for smooth project delivery.
Requirements:
- Degree or HNC in Civil Engineering.
- Valid CSCS card.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Basic knowledge of surveying equipment (total stations, GPS).
- Proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
