Site Manager required for a medium sized main contractor who specialise in facade remediation and who also deliver all aspects of new build and refurbishment. The project is in Bury St Edmunds and is a facade remediation project.

We require a proven professional with solid expertise in facade remediation works, preferably including oversight of live/occupied sites, coordination of subcontractors, programme delivery, and robust health & safety management. The position is site-based, with a targeted start date in late February or early March. We welcome applications from freelance/contract candidates, based on the right fit.

Key requirements
  • Must live within a 30-45 minute commute to the site location
  • Hands-on experience with Viewpoint and Field View systems
  • Experience with brickwork, scaffolding, cladding, glazing and roofing would be very useful

Project duration: approx. 37 weeks

Reporting line: to a Contracts Manager (weekly site visits)

Project value: £1.5 million

Must have CSCS, SMSTS and First Aid

Day rate / salary: To be negotiated depending on experience and contract type
