. With a multitude of new packages kicking off soon, our client needs a strong candidate who can step in, assist the wider team, and oversee packages independently without needing too much hands-on help

. This role is perfectly positioned to bridge the gap between the junior and senior teams on site

.

Role Highlights:

Hours:

8.5-hour workday, Mon to Fri

Contract:

Immediate start running until 31/12/2026, with the potential for extension

.

Key Responsibilities:

Support project development and delivery by providing contractual and commercial advice to the project team in conjunction with the Commercial Manager

.

Ensure all contract requirements related to the project are complied with in full

.

Produce financial reporting related to schemes to the required standard and timetable

.

Manage subcontract procurement and administration, ensuring timely instructions are issued with appropriate governance and the supply chain is paid in accordance with contractual arrangements

.

Effectively manage supply chain variations, risk, and cashflow forecasting

.

Produce early warnings and compensation events in accordance with contract requirements

.

Ensure effective control of costs across all activities and deliver weekly reporting

.

Liaise effectively within the team, with other teams, and with the supply chain

.

Candidate Requirements:

Essential experience in civil engineering construction

, while specific experience in the highways sector is highly desirable

.

Must be computer literate

and comfortable using the Seymour management system

.

Must hold a full driving licence

.
