Experienced Electrical Engineer - Commercial Maintenance

Salary: £43,000 - £46,000 per annum

Key Responsibilities:

  • Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) - Ensure all electrical systems run smoothly and efficiently.
  • Reactive Maintenance & Fault Finding - Diagnose and repair faults quickly to minimize downtime.
  • Electrical Installations & Upgrades - Work on power distribution, lighting, and emergency systems.
  • Testing & Inspection - Conduct compliance checks, including 18th Edition wiring regulations.
  • BMS & Control Systems - Monitor and adjust Building Management Systems (BMS) for optimal performance.
  • Fire Alarm & Emergency Systems - Maintain and test fire alarms, smoke detectors, and emergency lighting.
  • Compliance & Safety Documentation - Ensure all work meets regulatory and safety standards.
  • Multi-Skilled Support - Collaborate with mechanical and fabric engineers when needed.

What We're Looking For:

  • Fully Qualified Electrical Engineer - NVQ Level 3, 18th Edition required.
  • Strong Commercial FM Experience - Proven background in maintaining commercial buildings.
  • Proactive & Solutions-Oriented - Able to troubleshoot and resolve issues independently.
  • Knowledge of Compliance & Safety Standards - Experience with BS 7671, BMS, and emergency systems.
