Key Responsibilities:
- Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) - Ensure all electrical systems run smoothly and efficiently.
- Reactive Maintenance & Fault Finding - Diagnose and repair faults quickly to minimize downtime.
- Electrical Installations & Upgrades - Work on power distribution, lighting, and emergency systems.
- Testing & Inspection - Conduct compliance checks, including 18th Edition wiring regulations.
- BMS & Control Systems - Monitor and adjust Building Management Systems (BMS) for optimal performance.
- Fire Alarm & Emergency Systems - Maintain and test fire alarms, smoke detectors, and emergency lighting.
- Compliance & Safety Documentation - Ensure all work meets regulatory and safety standards.
- Multi-Skilled Support - Collaborate with mechanical and fabric engineers when needed.
What We're Looking For:
- Fully Qualified Electrical Engineer - NVQ Level 3, 18th Edition required.
- Strong Commercial FM Experience - Proven background in maintaining commercial buildings.
- Proactive & Solutions-Oriented - Able to troubleshoot and resolve issues independently.
- Knowledge of Compliance & Safety Standards - Experience with BS 7671, BMS, and emergency systems.
