We are seeking a proactive and reliable Caretaker to join our Facilities Management team supporting schools in the Birmingham (B19) area. This is a temporary position essential for maintaining a safe, clean, and functional learning environment for students and staff.
Role Overview
- Hourly Rate: £15.00 (PAYE)
- Hours: 37.50 hours per week
- Working Pattern: Monday to Friday
- Shift Times: 07:00 - 15:00 (Flexibility is required as shift patterns may vary)
- Duration: Friday, 30th January 2026 - Thursday, 30th April 2026
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee general site maintenance and facilities tasks within the school environment.
- Ensure the premises are secure and maintained to a high standard.
- Respond to reactive maintenance requests and support planned preventative maintenance (PPM) schedules.
- Maintain clear communication with school staff to ensure operational requirements are met.
Requirements
- Experience: Previous caretaker experience is preferred.
- Flexibility: Ability to work different shift patterns as required by the site.
- Professionalism: A dedicated and punctual approach to site security and maintenance.
