Vehical Builder (Mechanical) on C6 overhaul at Selhurst Depot

Inside IR35

£24.78 / hour PAYE (plus hol) or £32.64 UMB.

Position Summary:

Stripping out, refurbishment and renovation of trains and rolling stock

Use various metalwork techniques to remove dents, repair rusted sections and fix panels together

Bodywork inspections and corrosion repairs – cutting out rusted floors and side panels

Installation of new floors, lino, ceilings and partitions and seating inspection, removal and repair of internal and external panelling Refurbishment of train components

Use of hand, power an air tools

Person Profile:

Experience within Vehicle/Coachbuilding from an engineering backround
