Duration: 12 Months
This is an opportunity to work for a main contractor on the largest ongoing infrastructure project in Europe.
As Senior Design Manager you will be responsible for leading a team of Design Managers and delivering assurance on the tunnels and shafts delivery unit (TSDU), which includes leading and coordinating all designs and disciplines within the TSDU scope. This includes blockwork, fire-proofing, steelwork, doors, hatches, drainage, etc., as well as the architectural design of the shafts and headhouses.
The client has built the shafts and is now in the process of building headhouses and fit out of both Shafts & Headhouses – All Assets. Stage 5 DM, close-out of some Stage 4 Design.
Candidates must have previously worked on large scale infrastructure projects, ideally rail, and have experience managing teams of Design Managers. Due to the nature of the role, candidates must understand BIM, 3D environments, and computer-aided design.
