South London Nights & Weekends Long-Term Opportunities Competitive Rates We are recruiting experienced rail and tram professionals to support planned maintenance, renewals, fault rectification and heavy maintenance works across the London Trams network. - Skilled Plate Layers (Tramway)
- Plate Layers (Tramway)
- T002 Handback Engineers
- Tramway Worksite Supervisors (TWS)
- Tramway Possession Supervisors (TPS)
Typical Works:
- Sleeper and bearer renewals
- Re-railing works
- Top and line rectification
- Kango packing
- Ballast top-up and profiling
- Wet bed removal
- Renewal of clips and fastenings
- Scrap removal
- Foot crossing inspections and repairs
- Reactive faulting works
- Major renewals and heavy maintenance projects
Works will primarily take place during engineering hours, night shifts, weekends and planned possessions.
Skills, Experience & Competencies:
Applicants should have previous experience in track maintenance, renewals or rail infrastructure works. Priority will be given to candidates who hold a number of the following competencies:

Candidates applying for supervisory roles must hold the relevant T002, TWS or TPS competencies. We also welcome applications from candidates who may not hold every competency listed but have strong track experience and most of the required skills. Additional training and competency development may be available for the right individuals.

About You:
You will be an experienced rail infrastructure professional who is confident working in possession environments and committed to maintaining high standards of safety, quality and productivity. You will be reliable, professional, punctual and able to work effectively as part of a team. Experience on London Trams, London Underground, Network Rail or similar rail infrastructure environments is essential.
