This role suits rail workers, experienced security operatives and ex-forces personnel who are confident working in high-visibility, safety-critical environments.
Location Coverage
Roles will be available across: East London
- Chelmsford/Ingatestone/Brentwood
- Tottenham
- Romford
Assignments will primarily involve working at Network Rail locations and surrounding areas.
Role Purpose
As a Security Patroller, you will play a vital role in maintaining safety and security across the rail network. Key objectives include:
- Providing a visible, reassuring presence to passengers and staff
- Supporting efforts to prevent cable theft and infrastructure damage
- Deterring and responding to trespass and vandalism
- Assisting in suicide prevention and welfare interventions
- Reporting incidents accurately using digital systems
Requirements
Essential:
- Valid SIA Licence (Door Supervisor or Security Guarding)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic IT literacy (incident reporting, mobile apps, emails)
- Professional, reliable, and able to work independently
Desirable:
- PTS (Personal Track Safety) certification
- Full UK driving licence
- Previous experience in rail, security, or public-facing roles
