A Tier One Principal Contractor, operating throughout England and Wales, delivering multi-disciplinary buildings and civil engineering projects for Network Rail has an opportunity for a Scheme Project Manager to lead a growing portfolio of works across various Frameworks. You will be accountable for the safe, efficient, and commercially sound delivery of projects, ensuring that all works are planned, managed, and executed in line with client requirements and business objectives.

You will provide clear leadership to delivery teams, offering practical and technical guidance to ensure the successful execution of both permanent and temporary works. With a strong understanding of project management principles, you will drive effective planning, governance, risk management, and performance reporting across the project lifecycle.

You will take ownership of stakeholder engagement, building and maintaining strong client relationships, while ensuring clear communication across all parties.

Experience Required
  • Suitable qualified by experience, and have relevant construction knowledge, skills and experience
  • Relevant industry knowledge, skills and experience, Railway Safety Training, PTS SSSTS
  • Experience of reactive Works Delivery Frameworks/Project work in a fast-paced environment (at least 5 years)
  • Civil Engineering Construction work, ideally in a railway environment (minimum 5 years)
  • Appreciation of Network Rail design process
  • Demonstrable Line management experience
  • Demonstrable commercial experience - NEC 4 contract experience desirable
  • Demonstrable Programme Management experience

Salary is negotiable (Circa £48,000 - £55,000 dependant on level of experience plus:
