Rate: £475 - £525/day DOE - Umbrella, Inside IR35

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Section Engineer to join one of the UK's largest infrastructure projects, working on the delivery of earthworks, deep drainage and pipe jacking on HS2.
Working closely with the Agent and Sub Agent, you will take responsibility for the day-to-day coordination of construction activities, ensuring works are planned, executed safely and delivered in line with programme requirements. You will play a key role in managing subcontractors, temporary works, permits and quality assurance while maintaining the highest health and safety standards across site.
This role would suit a proactive engineer who enjoys taking ownership of site delivery, solving technical challenges and working collaboratively with multiple disciplines to successfully deliver complex civil engineering works.
Essential Requirements:- Previous experience working as a Section Engineer on major civil engineering or infrastructure projects
- Previous experience with pipe jacking, earthworks, and deep drainage
- Experience setting out on major infrastructure projects
- Proven experience producing ITPs, RAMs, site diaries
- Experience managing subcontractors and coordinating multiple work activities
- Good understanding of temporary works, permits and quality assurance processes
- Degree, HNC or equivalent qualification in Civil Engineering
- CSCS, SMSTS
- Previous HS2 experience is desirable
