About the role

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Rolling Stock Shift Supervisor to lead and coordinate the maintenance and servicing of rail vehicles during assigned shifts. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising technical teams, ensuring safety compliance, optimizing rolling stock availability, and maintaining high standards of reliability and performance in line with operational requirements.

Salary: £56,478.96

Hours: 40 hours per week rota days/afters/nights

Location: Various (across the Supertram network)

About you

  • Strong knowledge of railway vehicle systems (traction, braking, HVAC, doors etc.)
  • Experience in rolling stock maintenance and team leadership
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Familiarity with railway safety rules and maintenance procedures
  • Good communication, organisational, and problem-solving abilities
