Job Title: Rolling Stock Engineer (brake pneumatic systems)
Location: Hybrid β London (Palestra)
Rate: Up to Β£509 p/day (DOE) β Umbrella
Duration: 6 months (sick cover)
Overview: We are seeking an experienced Rolling Stock Engineer to provide cover for a 6-month period. The role is a hybrid mix of office-based and remote working, with occasional access to depots. This is an excellent opportunity for a technically minded professional with strong experience in brake pneumatic systems and a paperwork-focused approach to engineering.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review schematics, technical reports, and investigation documents.
- Apply a documentation-based mindset and understanding of engineering principles.
- Support investigations and provide technical input relating to brake pneumatic systems.
- Ensure accurate record-keeping and adherence to established processes.
- Liaise with depot teams and other stakeholders as required.
Skills & Experience Required:
- Proven experience in brake pneumatic systems.
