Location: we have vacancies available nationwide across NW&C, Eastern, Southern and Western routes. Your role will be hybrid between office and home-based.
My client is seeking a highly skilled Structures Examiner to undertake structural examinations across the Network Rail infrastructure. This will include recording defects and reporting on finding for a selection of structure types such as viaducts, bridges (over, under and foot), subways, retaining walls, culverts and building.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough inspections of bridges, both on rail networks, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
- Work within safety guidelines and report findings clearly.
- Perform inspections at varying heights and in confined spaces.
- Report directly to a Unit Leader and collaborate with the Territory Manager for effective delivery of inspections.
- Travel to various sites across the designated route, with potential for both day and night shifts depending on the contract requirements.
Essential Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Bridge Examiner or Inspector.
- In-depth knowledge of Rail inspection regulations.
- Ability to work at height and within confined spaces.
- Valid PTS and COSS competency.
- A full, valid UK driving license.
