My client is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join the Integrated Project Team. This role sits within the post-tunnelling phase of the programme and focuses on the delivery of critical infrastructure, shaft and MEP packages associated with a completed 16km tunnel section. The scope includes portal buildings, ventilation and intervention shafts, mechanical and electrical systems, clean and dirty water systems, fire protection, ducting, lifts integration and interfaces with future rail systems. This is a highly collaborative client‑side role working closely with contractors and supply chain partners to ensure safe, efficient and successful project delivery.

  • Proven Project Management experience within major infrastructure or civil engineering projects
  • Strong understanding of MEP systems and construction interfaces
  • NEC contract experience

  • Strong programme awareness and delivery focus
  • Ability to operate confidently within a heavily site‑based delivery environment

Desirable

  • Experience delivering MEP fit‑out packages within infrastructure or rail projects
  • Understanding of rail systems integration
  • Experience working on tunnels, shafts or large‑scale infrastructure assets

This role would suit either a civils‑focused Project Manager with MEP delivery experience, or someone from an MEP or rail systems background with strong infrastructure knowledge. This role is based in Maple Cross and requires regular on‑site presence across the project route in line with delivery requirements. Flexible working arrangements are available where operationally suitable.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a nationally important programme and contribute to the delivery of critical infrastructure assets that will support the future HS2 network.
