Project Manager (HV / LV)

Flexible working opportunity to join a growing specialist consultancy seeking an experienced and ambitious Project Manager with a focus on high and low-voltage Rail M&E and EMP projects. This role presents an excellent opportunity for a professional to take ownership of challenging electronics projects and play a key part in the company\’s continued growth.

Hybrid working model with site visits

Base salary: £55,000 pa – £75,000 pa + car allowance, fuel card, and extended benefits package.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Full project lifecycle management from conception to completion.
  • Develop detailed project plans, managing scope, schedule, budget, and risk.
  • Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary teams and external suppliers.
  • Manage key stakeholder relationships, ensuring expectations are met and communications are clear.
  • Provide robust financial reporting and commercial oversight for projects.
  • Ensure all project activities adhere to relevant rail industry standards and safety regulations.
  • Drive project performance, measured against key success criteria.

The Person:

  • A proven Project Manager with a background in delivering electronics-based projects.
  • Demonstrable experience within the rail sector is highly preferred. Candidates with transferable experience from similarly regulated environments such as Aerospace, Defence, or major Civil Engineering projects will also be considered.
  • Essential exposure to the commercial and financial management of projects.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • A proactive and responsible individual, keen to take on challenges and grow with the company.
  • Professionally qualified (e.g., Prince2, APM) or with equivalent demonstrated experience.
