Passive Fire Protection Design Specialist
Location: Heathrow Airport | Hybrid (min. 3 days on-site)
Duration: Full-Time | (Contract: Inside IR35)
We\’re currently seeking a Passive Fire Protection Specialist to join a Telecoms Design Team supporting major programmes of work at Heathrow Airport. You\’ll survey, propose and coordinate fire stopping elements of large-scale Telecoms and Security construction projects designs, ensuring compliance with Building Regulations and working closely with fire engineers, survey teams, and suppliers.
What You\’ll Need:
- 5+ years\’ experience in passive fire protection or fire engineering
- Strong knowledge of building codes & fire stopping systems
- Excellent coordination and communication skills
Ideally you will have:
Experience with Hilti, Quelfire, Rockwool
Knowledge of the Building Safety Act 2022
Fire engineering qualifications
Familiarity with structured cabling (Cat6, Fibre, etc.)
