Job Title: Maintenance Electrician
Location: Frome | £49,000 per annum | Shifts: 4 on 4 off (days)
We are looking for a Maintenance Electrician to support the safe, efficient running of fixed plant and site assets. You will be responsible for electrical maintenance, repair, inspection, and installation across LV/HV systems, motors, drives, instrumentation, and control systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on plant and electrical systems.
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair LV/HV distribution, motors, drives, and lighting.
- Support instrumentation, PLCs, and control systems fault finding.
- Maintain accurate records using CMMS and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Assist with projects and mentor apprentices where required.
About You
- ECS/JIB Electrician (Gold) card.
- Time-served apprenticeship/NVQ or 5+ years\’ maintenance experience.
- Strong knowledge of H&S legislation and safe systems of work.
- HNC/HND, HV training, or IET membership advantageous.
