My client is a growing contractor with a strong pipeline of secured work and is looking to appoint an MEP Pre-Construction Manager to support the front-end delivery of multiple projects across London. Based from their office near Bank Station, you will play a key role in reviewing designs, managing tender activities, engaging with the supply chain, and supporting project mobilisation before works commence on site.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy and expanding business delivering large-scale commercial and residential projects valued between £20m and £50m.
As MEP Pre-Construction Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Reviewing mechanical and MEP designs
- Managing tender and procurement activities
- Evaluating subcontractor quotations
- Working closely with clients, consultants, contractors, and supply chain partners
- Reviewing and challenging designs to ensure they are suitable, coordinated, and commercially viable before construction begins
Essential Requirements
- Minimum 10 years' experience within Mechanical Building Services or MEP delivery
- Strong mechanical design knowledge across HVAC, pipework, BMS and wider building services disciplines
- Experience working for a main contractor
- Proven pre-construction, tendering, procurement or bid support experience
- Ability to review and assess MEP designs and technical submissions
- Strong commercial awareness and experience reviewing quotations and tender returns
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with clients, consultants and supply chain partners
- Organised, proactive and highly reliable approach to project delivery

- Previous involvement in procurement strategy and supply chain management
