An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Civils Cost Engineer to join a growing team supporting the delivery of complex infrastructure projects across the UK. This role would suit someone with around 3 years of experience who is looking to further develop their commercial and estimating expertise within a supportive and forward-thinking environment.
Working closely with commercial, procurement, operational, and engineering teams, you’ll play a key role in developing competitive cost estimates across a range of civils and building projects. The business is open to candidates from estimating, quantity surveying, or wider commercial backgrounds who have a strong understanding of civil engineering and construction environments.
Requirements- Background within Civil Engineering, Construction, Estimating, or Quantity Surveying
- Previous experience within a commercial or estimating role
- Understanding of civils and building projects
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Motivated individual looking to develop within a growing team
- Experience working for a contractor or infrastructure business
- Exposure to tendering or estimating processes
