Our client, a rail engineering business also working in other transport sectors, now has an opening in their team for a Junior/Trainee CAD Technician. This is a full-time, permanent position, perfect for someone to take the first big step in their career within the rail industry.

The purpose of the role is to work alongside the BIM team to deliver the CAD/BIM requirements for clients.

Principal responsibilities:

  • Produce 3D models, 2D Drawings using Bentley & Revit CAD software platforms
  • Understanding MEP & Telecommunications design aspects

Key skills/experience required:

  • Previous knowledge of CAD software – Preferably Bentley or Revit
  • A basic understanding of BIM
  • Experience in an engineering/office environment
  • Good IT skills
