Location: Hatfield, 3 days per week, 2 days from home
I am supporting a well-established contractor who is looking to bring in an experienced engineer to join their expanding design team. With new projects recently secured and workload set to increase, this is a great opportunity to play a key role in shaping and developing the function.
You’ll be working closely with both design and construction teams, delivering a range of structural design solutions across rail projects including substations, signal structures and associated infrastructure.
Essential requirements:
- Minimum 4 years’ experience within civil/structural engineering
- Degree-qualified in a relevant engineering discipline
- Strong structural engineering background
- Experience working with both concrete and steel structures
- Ability to produce and check engineering calculations
Desirable:
- Rail industry experience
- Experience with MicroStation
- Familiarity with Tekla Tedds
