Railway Transport Planning Professional – Inside IR35
Contract Length: 3 months initially
We are seeking an experienced Railway Transport Planning Professional to join our team on a short-term contract. The ideal candidate will be highly skilled and able to demonstrate competence across a range of railway planning disciplines, with proven experience in busy depot environments.
Key Requirements
- Strong background in Maintenance Planning.
- Solid understanding of Railway timetabling and diagram allocations.
- Knowledge of resource planning, including depot capacity and limitations.
- Proficient understanding of RoGS and railway documentation (e.g., Rules of the Depot).
- Hands-on experience with computer-based management systems such as SRMS, SAP, Intergale, Gemini, etc.
- Knowledge of both planned and reactive maintenance requirements within a high-demand depot.
- Ability to remain agile and adapt to changing operational planning requirements.
- Flexibility to support ad hoc and special events when required.
