Construction Assurance Manager
Location: Coleshill, Birmingham
Salary: Up to £65,514
This role involves supporting the assurance and delivery of large-scale civil engineering works across a major transportation project.
Working client-side, you\’ll play a key role in ensuring safe, compliant, and high-quality delivery of works, acting as a technical expert in constructability and supporting the administration of NEC3 contracts.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct site-based reviews and safety inspections to ensure contractor compliance with UK regulations and internal policies.
Support the NEC3 Supervisor and Project Manager in fulfilling their contractual obligations.
Assist in the management of construction assurance across cross-contract interfaces.
Contribute to CDM assurance and readiness activities for Hold Point releases.
Requirements:
Strong experience delivering or assuring large-scale civil engineering works (e.g. bridges, earthworks, tunnels, ground engineering).
In-depth understanding of NEC3 contracts and Construction (Design and Management) Regulations.
Knowledge of construction safety practices and risk-based site assurance processes.
A degree in Civil Engineering, Construction, or equivalent experience.
Experience working on complex, multi-package infrastructure programmes is highly desirable.
