A hands-on Project Controls Manager is required to join the Rail Systems delivery team for Phase One of a major UK infrastructure project. This is a chance to work at the heart of project delivery, engaging directly with Tier 1 contractors. The role is embedded within the team responsible for kicking off the crucial scheme and concept design phase. The position requires a practical, delivery-focused professional who understands the dynamics of working with major contractors in a complex, multi-disciplinary environment.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Strong experience as a Project Controls Manager. While a planning background is acceptable, the primary experience must be in a holistic project controls capacity.
- Strong technical skills with a heavy emphasis on Power BI.
- Experience working for a main contractor or a major subcontractor within an infrastructure environment (rail, civils, power, etc.) would be incredibly useful.
- A proactive, problem-solving attitude is key; experience and approach are valued above specific qualifications.
