ARM are working with a major railway client and we are currently recruiting for a new position created to help support an alliance of organisations to deliver a 'best for programme' approach to their work. We are recruiting for a Business Support Services Manager to join the team in London on an initial 12 month fixed-term contract, working using the hybrid model.
About You:
- You will be an experienced business manager who is likely to come from a project management, business transformation or business change background or a similar alliance-based position.
- Your background will have seen you working within highly complex businesses and ideally public sector work.
- You will have demonstrable experience of developing operating models, KPI reporting models and business programmes or business systems experience (not from an IT development point of view).
What you will be doing:
This position will see you helping to set up the alliance in terms of operating model, business systems, annual planning, some financial reporting and staffing model creation, based on the alliance agreed needs. The alliance is likely to form in the latter end of this 12-month period and will then determine the longevity of this Support Services Manager role.
Work Arrangement:
This position will be based in London and working using the Hybrid model, with 2 days a week in the office and 3 working from home. While this is offered as an initial 12 month fixed-term contract, the success of this becoming longer term is based on the individual and alliance needs. There will also be the opportunity to apply to internal vacancies in line with the company's policy of offering applications from internal candidates before then looking to the external market.
What you can expect in return:
The salary range for this position is between £53,850 and £80,760. On top of this is an excellent range of benefits including generous pension, holiday and general package. You can also buy extras from your salary too. We can only consider those who are eligible to work in the UK for this position (for a minimum of the 12 months offered initially). A DBS check will also be undertaken as part of the onboarding process for the successful candidate.
For more information on this position, please contact Wayne Smith at ARM or email your CV and covering letter.
