The Role
We are looking for a highly experienced and sharp Traffic Marshall / Vehicle Banker for a major construction project in Atherstone. This is a long-term opportunity offering approximately 12 months of steady work for the right candidate.
The Challenge
This is not a standard gate-watching role. The site features a very narrow access road, meaning logistics, tight maneuvers, and blind spots will be a constant factor. You will be responsible for safely banking large delivery vehicles, muck-away wagons, and plant machinery in a highly restricted space.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing all vehicle arrivals and departures safely via a narrow, challenging access route.
- Actively banking and guiding heavy goods vehicles (HGVs) and site plant safely in tight spaces.
- Acting as the primary point of contact at the gate, coordinating closely with site management and delivery drivers.
- Ensuring the safety of pedestrians and the general public outside the site.
