Finisher / Snagger in Thornaby-on-Tees

We are seeking a keen and skilled finisher to join a busy team on a new build housing development in Middlesbrough. This is an ongoing contract role focused on putting the final, high-quality touches on homes before they are handed over to buyers.

If you have a sharp eye for detail, take pride in a flawless finish, and can turn your hand to multiple finishing trades, this long-term position is perfect for you.

Key Responsibilities

• Carrying out snagging and finishing works across new build plots.
• Performing high-quality patch plastering and wall repairs.
• Internal painting and decorating to ensure a pristine finish.
• Applying neat, professional mastic/silicone sealing in kitchens, bathrooms, and around fixtures.
• Correcting any defects or minor damage left behind by regular trades prior to final handover.

What We Are Looking For

• Proven experience as a Finisher, Snagging Hand, or Multi-Trade Operative on new build housing sites.
• Strong competency in patch plastering, painting, and masticing.
• Valid CSCS Card (Essential).
• Own tools and full PPE (Hard hat, high-vis vest/jacket, and steel toe cap boots).
• An exceptional eye for detail and high standards of workmanship.
• Reliability, punctuality, and the ability to work independently.
