We are seeking an experienced and professional Telehandler Operator for a short-term contract in Burton-on-Trent. This role is providing essential holiday cover on a busy, fast-paced residential housing site.
The Details
- Start Date: Tuesday, 26th May
- Duration: 2 Weeks (Holiday Cover)
- Location: Burton-on-Trent (Residential Site)
- Rate: Competitive hourly rate (dependent on experience/payment Method)
Key Responsibilities
- Material Distribution: Safely transporting materials (bricks, blocks, timber, etc.) across the site to support various trades.
- Loading/Unloading: Efficiently managing deliveries and ensuring stock is stored correctly.
- Site Safety: Operating the machine in a safe manner, adhering to site speed limits and pedestrian management plans.
- Daily Checks: Performing routine maintenance and safety checks on the telehandler.
Requirements
- To be considered for this role, you must possess one of the following valid cards: CPCS Blue Card (Competent Operator) or NPORS (With CSCS Logo).
- Full PPE (Hard hat, High-vis, Steel toe boots).
- Proven experience working on housing sites.
- Reliable transport to the Burton-on-Trent area.
- Strong communication skills to coordinate with the Site Manager and subcontractors.
