Are you an experienced Machinist?

Can you work 3 shifts Monday to Friday 6am - 2pm/2pm-10pm and 10pm - 6am alternating weeks?

You will be working on a variety of CNC machines including Mazak twin spindle lathes.

  • setting and operating the various machines
  • machining components in line with the M. I. S (Machining Instruction Sheet).
  • measuring all components to ensure they are to the desired tolerance and surface finish as per drawing.
  • ensuring "first off" checks are carried out on every operation
  • recording all scrap
  • signing all relevant paperwork
  • previous CNC machining experience - setting and operating CNC Mazak lathes with Mazatrol control systems
  • the capability to read engineering diagrams and working to tight tolerances
  • experience in operating CNC cylindrical grinders and EDM wires (training can be provided)
  • to be IT literate
  • 33 days annual leave (inc of public holidays)
  • Pension
