Fantastic opportunity to join a dedicated maintenance team on a permanent basis. You will inspect, repair, and maintain a variety of roof types, ensuring all work meets the highest standards of quality and safety.
Key Duties:
- Inspect roof defects to determine and implement the most effective repair solutions and methods.
- Repair and maintain flat, tiled, and slated roofs while carrying out minor carpentry and lead flashing work as required.
- Ensure strict compliance with Health and Safety regulations, including HSG33, Building Regulations, and HSE Codes of Practice.
- Conduct point-of-work risk assessments and manage tasks efficiently to meet productivity and quality targets.
What We're Looking For:
- Must have over 3 years of trade experience, ideally within the housing repairs sector.
- Minimum NVQ Level 2 in Roofing Occupations or an equivalent qualification.
- Proven problem-solving skills with the ability to self-manage and prioritize a busy workload.
- Valid UK driving licence and a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
- A DBS check will be required before starting the role.
