I am currently recruiting for a Project Manager to work on a number of exciting projects across the North East as part of our main contractor's successful and growing team. I am looking for a candidate to work on commercial projects with a view to assisting in securing future work in the area.
Responsibilities:
- Contributing to the value engineering and build-ability of the project
- Conducting regular site safety checks
- Ensuring the project runs to programme and budget
- Agreement of programmes and methods of construction with Planner and other appropriate production personnel
- Ensuring the project team comply with the Companies Business Management System
- Managing multi-disciplinary teams
- Cost Control
- Maintaining effective long-term relationships with the customer and their representatives/advisors
- Monitoring, support, mentoring and counselling members of the project team in their personal development
- Weekly review of progress against Target Programme
Knowledge, skills & experience:
- Previous Project Management experience working with large specifically on Design and Build projects upwards in value of £10m+
- Experience of project planning
- Must have prior industrial experience
- Minimum HNC qualified
- 5 day SMSTS
- Professional qualification
- High level of leadership and management skills
- Relevant sectors: Residential, Healthcare
