6-Month Contract Opportunity for a Main Contractor
Are you an experienced Site Manager with a strong engineering background looking for an immediate start? We are currently looking for a Site Manager to work with a tier 2 Main Contractor to manage and deliver Demolition/Enabling works for a new build project. Interviews will take place this week with a view to start ASAP.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Oversee all on-site operations for the demolition and enabling works project, ensuring adherence to project timelines and specifications.
- Manage and coordinate all site personnel, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Enforce strict health and safety procedures on site, ensuring compliance.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, identify potential issues, and ensure quality control.
- Manage site logistics, including plant and material deliveries, waste management, and site security.
- Liaise effectively with the client, project managers, and other stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate site records and documentation, including daily diaries, progress reports, and incident logs.
What we're looking for:
- Proven experience as a Site Manager on demolition and/or enabling works projects.
- Engineering background is highly desirable.
- Ability to start ASAP.
- Valid CSCS, SMSTS, and First Aid certifications are essential.
