We are recruiting for a Tier 1 Contractor in Plymouth who is currently delivering a massive-scale infrastructure project.
We are looking for an engineer to join a specialist delivery team focused on high-integrity, water-retaining structures . If your background is in heavy-duty reinforced concrete and you have an eye for the precision required in marine or nuclear-grade civils, you'll fit right in.
The RoleLocation: Plymouth, Devon
Contract: Long-term (Multi-year stability)
Environment: Complex, large-scale heavy civils and structural concrete.
Focus: Engineering control and QA for critical structural barriers.
We are specifically looking for engineers who have cut their teeth on technically demanding projects. To succeed here, you should have:
Heavy Civils Background: Proven experience in environments where tolerances are tight and the stakes are high (e.g., Marine, Energy, or major Water Infrastructure).
Concrete Specialist: A strong understanding of water-retaining concrete requirements, complex reinforcement, and high-spec finishes.
QA Rigour: An obsessive approach to Quality Assurance and "as-built" accuracy-essential for high-integrity structural barriers.
Deliver precise setting-out and dimensional control for major structural elements.
Maintain stringent QA records to satisfy Tier 1 and client-side audits.
Collaborate with a specialist team to ensure the integrity of critical barrier structures.
Provide technical "boots on the ground" leadership to subcontractors.
Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
Proficiency with the latest robotic surveying equipment.
CSCS card (Gold/White) and a solid understanding of site safety protocols.
